The Sour Collective (she/her)

Hi there! My name is Madison, I'm 22, and I live in Florida. I've always been a creative person with a huge interest in the arts, journalism, story-telling, and design. I've finally combined these interests to create my collaborative zine, The Sour Collective. Each issue has a different theme. For each issue, I curate art, writing, photography, etc. pertaining to that particular theme. Whether they were scouted out by me or submitted their work themselves, all contributors consent to their work being published in the zine, and I credit them in every way possible, as one of my main goals with my zine is to help small creators gain exposure. Contributors are credited by name and social media handle if they'd like, and I also include a QR code readers can scan that takes them to the creator's bio, photo, social media, and website! I also work to make my zine a unique, interactive experience. Apart from the QR codes, I make specialty-curated playlists to go with each issue of my zine. Throughout the zines, there are scannable Spotify codes that take you to these playlists.
